Chapter 24.3 Dangerous Illusion Array

She quickly took another gold stick and held it in the palm of her hand. Her heart was beating wildly in her chest and her nerves were tense to the extreme.

Such a shrill cry did not even attract the attention of others. It was just like what she had guessed, this illusion array was absolutely soundproof.

She saw the figure pull down a raincoat-like transparent cover thing from his body and panting heavily. Then he fiercely drew out the gold stick that had been pierced into his eyes and viciously stared at her with one eye.

   It is Jiang Jinpeng.

   “Good……dare to trick me……very good……”

“Jiang Jinpeng, calm down.” Sang Yuanyuan’s voice sounded neither light nor heavy, “Your eye is hurt and you can no longer shift the blame to Jiang Jinzhen any more. It’s better to withdraw the illusion array and I promise I won’t pursue tonight’s affairs. How about it?”

Jiang Jinzhen’s face twisted and convulsed madly. Without saying a word, he strode towards Sang Yuanyuan.

Sang Yuanyuan observed his expression and knew that he was going to break the broken jar to pieces[1].

Amidst the half of his face that was stained with blood, Jiang Jinpeng’s grim smile was extremely terrifying : “What if my eye is hurt? No one, no one will care about me at all. Even if both of my eyes are broken, as long as I don’t say it, no one will even notice it! No matter how hard I try, no one will see it!”

“Ha, hahaha, but what about Jiang Jinzhen? He has done all the bad things, but he can still easily get the position of the Crown Prince. So many people hold him in their arms!”

“Even this imperial palace of the Emperor is also his pleasure ground! He set up this illusion array and secret passage and only Heaven knew how many of the Tiandu’s entertainers he played till death here! My beloved Little Yushu, she died so miserably!”

In those eyes, blood and tears flowed together.

“That’s right. I cannot do anything towards Jiang Jinzhen, but I can harm him through the hands of another……Hahaha, once you die, my paternal aunt will definitely investigate it. Once they look into it, they will find that it was all Jiang Jinzhen’s crime! Ha, hahahaha!”

He waved both of his arms and the wind blew under his feet. He leaped to Sang Yuanyuan’s side and seized her easily.

The strength gap is too big!

He flung her to the ground, restrained her, pinched her neck with one hand, clenched his fist with the other, and smashed towards her head hard.

She unyieldingly held on and raised her hand to block his fist.

The back of her hand hit her forehead, and there was a burst of dull pain in her palm.

She stealthily clenched the gold stick hidden in her other sleeve and bit the tip of her tongue to stay awake. She plans to take one more hard blow, and then pretend to faint. Wait until he was at the most relaxed, and then give him a fatal blow!

She only have to do her best to stab it into the artery in the neck……

Her eyes seemed weak and loose, but in fact, her mind is all focused on the other side’s fatal weakness.

Jiang Jinpeng once again raised his iron fist.

Just as he was about to severely smash it onto the beautiful and fragile head in front of him, his action suddenly stagnated. He widened his eyes and slowly lowered his head.

A huge black sword was pressed against the side of his neck and the cold blade of the sword was stuck to his skin. The ghostly figure behind him gently leaned close to him and exhaled softly beside his ear.

   “Let, go.”

Jiang Jinpeng loudly inhaled a breath.

The brain that had gone crazy, instantly became incomparably clear.

This black sword is really too discernible and coupled with that gloomy voice, even if one doesn’t want to not acknowledge it, they can’t.

Jiang Jinpeng was like falling into an ice cave. It’s that man! That man, how could he be here! How is that possible?

Jiang Jinpeng’s body trembled all over and released Sang Yuanyuan in a hurry. Forced by the sword, he slowly stood up straight. Then he tremblingly froze in place like a quail that had its accupoint pressed. He didn’t even dare to breathe, holding it back till his face was red through and though.

The blade of the sword moved incomparably elegant and turned half an arc against his neck. The man in black slowly came out from behind him and pulled the mask down. His long eyes were slightly slanted, and the corners of his lips curled up gently.

   “Really obedient.”
