Chapter 26.2 I Like You Just The Same

   Seeing Sang Yuanyuan coming in, You Wuming squinted his eyes happily and waved his hand at her: “Come here.”

  2. I don’t know if he’s evil, not in the tyrannical king sense at least. If what happened here is any indication, it seems those under him aren’t loyal and look for excuses to muddy his name. He might, in turn, resort to being ruthless to save his own skin and those who are actually loyal to him. There is also something going on with him gaining his title, which I imagine is not accurately being retold.

    But is he a good man? Just because he’s not evil doesn’t make him good. So, that remains to be seen 😂😂😂

      I think my friend here could use some cultural context.
      So a lot of time in CNovels when a beautiful character is referred to as an “evil doer”, or just “evil” for short; they’re saying the person in question tempts one to sin. That is to say they’re seductive. I think the TL was using the term in that sense, given the “got inside” innuendo.

  6. I think ‘die on the peony flower’ was actually talking about the end of sex, the climax of the event so to speak. I think it’s much like ‘la petite mort’ or ‘the little death’ in French that talks about the same type of thing, the tired, lethargic feeling after orgasm. At least, that is how I interpreted it.
