ATSWM Chapter 9.3

Chapter 9.3 Travel Lightly In Emergency (Part 3)

He said, “Father is too impulsive. It is infeasible. Little Sister’s method is still better. But, only seizing Julin Pass, isn’t that too cheap for Han Shaoling that little bastard? It will be better if we directly strike until Kuiren, so as to save Little Sister from having to spend a few more hours in the mountain forest. “

  Sang Yuanyuan: “……”

She managed to persuade that pair of father and son at last, to only amass the soldiers in Julin Pass, and not to fight if they could avoid it.

So as not to be bruised and battered.

This side had just been solved, Han Shaoling’s jade token shined.

”Sang’er, next time when you are well, I will definitely take you out of the city to stroll around. I have already arrived in the Western Desert. The moon is especially big and round in the desert. Even though it is a little bit hot in the daytime, but the view is excellent and it can ease one’s heart. Sang’er, I have started to miss you already.”

Sang Yuanyuan responded lightly, her mind had long flown out of the wooden window with the carving on its top, flying towards the vast Sang state in the South.

A woman’s scream brought her back to her senses.

Her heart suddenly sank, thinking that there’s an eavesdropper hiding inside the hall.

Then she heard Han Shaoling’s voice with a little impatience in it: “What’s wrong again?”

The woman laughed back at him: “Nothing. I almost bumped into you! It’s so fun to ride a cloud beast! I’ll run one more lap outside!”

  It’s Meng Wuyou.

The corners of Sang Yuanyuan’s lips curved into a sneer.

”Has the face been concealed?” She said calmly, “I don’t want to hear any slanderous gossip or whatnot, discussing King Sang’s daughter being publicly ill-mannered.”

Han Shaoling’s voice can’t help being embarrassed: “Her face had been disguised. No one will gossip about you, Sang’er.”

  Complete silence.

After a long time, Han Shaoling said, “This woman, really is……Sang’er, I have something to do here. I’ll get back to you. “

Until the time when Sang Yuanyuan geared up to set off, Han Shaoling’s jade token had never shone.

Sang Yuanyuan can’t help thinking, if the original body is still here, will she not keep holding the jade token, stupidly waiting till dawn? She did not dare to disturb him, for fear that he was doing something serious there. But there was another woman beside him, who dared to be crazy, dare to make trouble, and dare to be unscrupulous.

The one in the wait, how pathetic the person must be.

  Fortunately, she won’t.

  ……

Sang Yuanyuan’s convoys smoothly left the Royal City.

The Lord went to war, the main wife went to the Buddhist temple in the Southern suburbs to pray for him. This matter, when Han Shaoling was still in the Royal City, Sang Yuanyuan had asked him to arrange it.

After traveling for more than twenty Li[1], turned around and looked back, seeing the dark Capital of Han that was lying on the ground, it looked like a prison cage, also like a fierce beast.

Sang Yuanyuan let out a soft breath.

  The journey went unexpectedly well.

After replenishing their supplies in Meishui City, the group smoothly passed the first heavily guarded military town Kuiren.

After they left Kuiren, Sang Yuanyuan threw all of Han Shaoling jade tokens into the ditch beside the official road.

  Go away, pig trotters[2]!

Tonight, the moon within Han state’s borders is also very round.

Through the carriage’s window, Sang Yuanyuan looked at that round bright moon in a daze.

Once the sky brightens, her father and brother’s troops will besiege the city to assist her out.

”Princess, rest earlier. I’m afraid it will take some effort to break through the portal tomorrow. “

Sang Yuanyuan said with a smile: “You all should be the one to rest well. I’m only a drag. I have nothing to do.”

Aunt Ling shook her head and smiled, closed the window and door for her, and retreated outside to discuss with everyone about how to protect Princess out of the portal.

Sang Yuanyuan thought that she would have difficulty falling asleep, but unexpectedly she soon fell into a deep sleep.

  She dreamed of a snake.

A snake as thick as a finger was crawling up and down on her face.

She opened her eyes with great difficulty, only to find herself falling from one nightmare to another.

There was a ghostly figure sitting by the couch, with dim eyes, tracing the outline of her face with its fingers.

Very true, I always can’t help but pity such stupid women though, like Yun wumings sister, such a stulid girl doing so much for a salted fish ….
